With the Inlet platform, you can connect any software system with any smart lock or access control system.
If you run a hotel, you can choose what booking system you want and later pick the lock system that works for you.
When everything is connected, your access management is automated. When a booking is made, we install them in the locks. Then we send codes, links, digital keys or other access information to the customer. When they arrive, they can open any lock they need by themselves.
You can connect multiple different software systems to the same lock. This is great if you want your customers to use the booking system, while the staff use the employee app to gain access.
You can also connect different types of lock to the same software system. This is great if you want customers to have access to different objects with different locks. This could be the main entrance, their room and perhaps a locker.

Ski Resort
A ski resort struggled with long lines at the front desk every Friday afternoon during the winter season. With Inlet, their guests can now go directly to their cabin or apartment once they arrive. The guest simply book online and receive an access code before their booking starts. They also receive codes for the ski lockers outside. No more lines and annoyed customers.
Self-service Store
A Norwegian startup wanted to create portable self-serviced stores for surplus construction materials. They built custom shipping containers with a lock system and used Inlet to connect the locks to their online store. Now they’re expanding with multiple portable locations all over the country.
City Access
Oslo Municipality in Norway is developing a citizen key app. The goal is to make libraries, event venues and similar services more accessible to the citizens of Oslo.
The problem is that large municipalities usually have dozens of different access control systems. By using Inlet, the app can control doors all over the city, no matter what access control system the building has.
